Individual therapy is a valuable practice and exploration in self-discovery. It is a process aimed toward engaging you to challenge yourself to live more fully and to shed patterns that no longer serve you. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating the complexities of relationships as well as those suffering from stress, anxiety, and depression. These struggles can often manifest in many ways and may lead to other life challenges, such as anger, or addiction.
Essentially, my goal is to support you in getting to know yourself better. This includes your thinking patterns, but also the ways you shape yourself bodily. You are continually growing into new versions of yourself, my intention is to support you to take an active and participatory role in how and in what direction you grow. Psychotherapy is a space to practice both new behaviors and to shift narratives and beliefs that keep you stuck in old patterns. My approach is somatic, relational, and engaging.
Psychotherapy is an opportunity for you to share what is going on in your life, and for me to engage you to explore your feelings, assess what is working well, and make changes to what is no longer in your best interest. I have experience working with a wide range of concerns. It is not uncommon to know something isn't right, but be unsure of how to make it better. Therapy is a practice in engaging yourself so that you can be the active participant in shaping your life, to be in the 'driver's seat' so to speak, rather than being overly affected by external factors. My role is to support you in this process, to challenge you to step into the great potential that you already and undoubtably have within.
